How is Everyone?

I've been MIA for the last 3-4 weeks. Work has been nuts and I guess I'm just getting used to the idea that we are really starting IVF.

Hope all is well with everyone! I know some of you have moved to adoption and I think that's wonderful. We had already decided to do the same and then my insurance covers IVF so here we are.

Kim,

I've had the same feeling about IVF that I think you have had. I've talked with a lot of women who have done IVF and said they just take it one step at a time. THey also said that the doctors can learn a lot about more from doing an IVF than they can with other procedures. One women learned that DH actually had a sperm problem. So they injected the sperm into the egg (IXSY?) and now she is cautiously pregnant.

I'm glad you checked in with us!

I can't wait to follow your IVF cycle. Are you getting excited? Nervous? Please make sure you keep us posted on every little detail. Some of us are heading in that direction soon and it will be great to know what to expect. I'm so glad that you ended up getting this insurance!

It will be nice to have another IVF grad soon!

It's good to hear from you, I'm glad you found us over on these new boards! It's so exciting that you're starting IVF, I have nothing but positive thoughts that this is going to be IT for you! If I remember right you just started Lupron? How long does that go? I'm sure this whole process will go really quickly, and I'm praying that you get that BFP that you so richly deserve!! Good luck!

Thanks! I did the first Lupron shot this morning and have the 2nd in about 10 mins. Still on BCP's too until Friday and then I'm finally done with those. We are officially on our way.

Estimated date for retrieval is the 23rd....If that holds true the 1 day I won't have any shots this month will be the 22nd - our anniversary.
