Finally Some Answers...(x-post)
If you all remember we did a panel of immunological tests and the E-tegrity (Beta-Protein) test at the end of December after IVF# 2 failed. We have some answers at least. I talked to the nurse today and need to schedule a consult with my RE next week. I have 1 copy of the C6777 mutation gene. But since I don't have some other (can't remember exactly what number that was now) it doesn't relate to infertility or immunological issues. I have 2 other categories that were slightly elevated but doesn't explain anything as well. All other blood tests came back normal as always. Then there's the E-tegrity which came back "negative". I don't have the Beta-3 protein needed for implantation. The nurse said my RE wants me to re-test to confirm the results. I asked if it's really necessary based on my history of great embryos but no implantation and just my gut feeling that I've said all along. Plus, I have the endo so it all makes sense to me that I don't have this protein. So, now I've testing for LH surge starting this weekend (in case I do have to re-do the test) and hoping for a consult next week so maybe we can move forward with the Lupron Depot for 60-90 days and straight into IVF #3 after that as recommended by the testing company.
It's still waiting but at least some sort of real answer, finally!
