What to fix for dinner? I know I am sitting out ground beef, but only ideas are hamburgers or tacos. Anyone have any other ideas? I would certainly appreciate you input!
meat (pre cooked and seasoned)
cheese
onions
bell pprs
a lil paso
i take crescent roils and i lay them in a ring shape on a backing sheet. lay them so all the lager points are facing the same way....like a wreath (sp lol) overlapping them some
then i spoon the taco mixture over the ring.
fold the long skinny points over the mixture to close it in...there should be lil spaces left between each fold.
i top with a lil cheese and bake it according to the reg crescent instructions.
i serve it with paso, cheese, and sour cream....sometimes lettuce....
i will try to get a pic, if i didnt explain it well....

Thanks for the idea I do not have any crescent rolls but will have to get some to try that! I think I am going to do burgers I need to go grocery shopping but putting off until payday! I am always looking for a way to cook something different!
my mom gets those powder ranch dressing mixes and puts it in her burgers...its really good!
she does that cause she dosnt like the "live meat" taste lol. she wanted me to use in mine when she came to visit...we cook with elk meat and she swore she would be able to tell the difference and couldnt eat it with out the ranch... but she couldnt tell the difference! and i didnt use the powder stuff lol

Elk meat that sounds interesting! We had deer meat mixed with a little bit of Jimmy dean for flavor! And I set up the grill before dh got home so we grilled em and his mom, brother and his fiance ate with us they started playing with fire from the candle and then we all starting wanting smores so we made a fire and fixed smores it was fun, just came in a few ago!
Wow those are big! My dh hunts a little bit he actually got the last deer the lazy way.he is a sheriff's deputy and helped someone who hit the deer and asked them if they wanted they didn't so he got it I had to help clean and all the other stuff bcuz his brother was out of town so gross! But we took it to the processor and got a lot of meat so I cannot complain!
we have a ranch out in colorado we go to every summer then dh goes back in oct to hunt. we have dove, quail and elk in the freezer it saves us on groceries!

a small bag of frozen veggie
2 cans cream of mushroom
1 can of chicken ( or left over rotisserie chicken -this is what i do mostly)
1 tsp garlic
your favorite seasonings
2 pre-made pie dough
place one pie dough in bottom of a deep dish pie pan
place in oven while it preheats for about 5 min (follow the cooking instructions on the crust)
mix all the ingredients together a large bowl
pull out dish and scoop mixture over crust.
top with the second pie dough
pinch the top and bottom crust together remove extra dough that’s hanging over (if any)
again bake at temperature suggested on pie dough until the crust is golden brown
whaa laa dinner in about 30-40 min
i serve mine with mashed potatoes
i just take my taters and cube them in about ½ in pieces. i just washed them really well i don’t mess with peeling them. then i place then in a glass dish with about an inch of water, cover and microwave about 10 min or until soft.
then i drain them from the water and dump them in my mixer. who has time to mash when you can beat them in a mixer?
then just add a lil butter while running the mixer on low…then the milk and a lil salt and pepper to taste
now the extra dough i roll it out flat on an aluminum foil covered baking sheet.
next brush a lil butter over it the sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.
roll the dough into a tube shape (like a twinkie)
cut into ½ inch pieces. bake until the dough begins to brown.
and you have a lil snack
