I teach with HEad Start so I have 3's and 4's and a few 5 year olds. My youngest little guy 3.5 year old came up to me the other day rubbing his eye. He said, "I think there is something in my eye, a penguin poked it." So I asked him where the penguin was so I could talk to him about keeping hands to ourselves and he replied, "oh I think he had to go to the grocery store with his mom." I say "I've never seen a penguin in a grocery store." He replies, "yea they don't like teachers very much."

weird..... how could you not like a teacher???!!! Come on I'm sweet and cuddly!

im a teacher too! well...iim a sahm for now then will be returning to work once she is older.

i had to do some of my observation hrs with head start and i loved it! i love how it gets parents envolved! you do wonderful work!
