Can I join my old group??

Sometimes, just sometimes procrastination can work in my favor...

I ran into Kristen on another board & she told me to check in here. I fully planned to, but now I'm glad I didn't then.

Y'see, I was posting on the Pregnancy after Infertility board b/c my miracle had finally happened! I conceived (naturally) around the 2nd of May. After more than 2 1/2 years of trying, 5 IUIs, many cycles of Clomid - I got pg the good old fashioned way!!!!

Unfortunately, we went in for the 9W u/s & my "little bean" had no heartbeat. I had a D&C the next day. That was 2 1/2 weeks ago, and I still can't quite believe it. Since I found out so early in the pregnancy, I had 6-7 good weeks to fall in love with my child. At 7W, we saw the heartbeat & it was truly the most wonderful moment of my life.

I've been checking in here to see who's on the board from the old 12+ board, and I'm glad to see many of my old friend (or not glad b/c we're not PG!) - but you know what I mean!

Since the m/c, I've been searching for some way to feel better, heal, something. You gals used to be such a source of strength for me, so I thought this was a good place to try.

Hellen, I was just visiting this board checking up on my old buddies....and saw your post....

I just want to say how very sorry I am that you lost your precious baby. Knowing what it was like to see my little one's heart beat for the first time....I can imagine how very excited you were and how you "bonded" and fell in love with the baby growing inside you.... I'm so sorry that the only time you got with this little angel was 7-9 weeks..... I really don't know what else to say, words are meaningless in such a sad situation. Please know I'm out here in "cyberland" wishing I could give you a hug....and so hoping your time as a mommy will come soon........

Hellen,

I'm so sorry about your m/c. I too lost my first at 10 weeks after seeing the heartbeat at about 8 weeks. We still have the u/s pictures. It takes time to recover from that. DH and I were just in a kind of daze for a long time. I hope that we are able to help you heal.

I'm so terribly sad to hear this news. I am so sorry for your loss, please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers at this difficult time. And of course you are welcome to come back to your old friends, any time you need us we are here for you! I'm sorry to see you back under these circumstances but I hope that we can in some way help you heal.

Hi Hellen,

I'm very sorry to hear about the loss of your child.

Having been there a few times myself I can feel how heavy this is on your heart. You have come back to the right place to get the support that you need when you need it. Please remember to take time out to reflect on yourself and your feelings and don't rush back into anything if your heart is not in it. Take the time that you need to grieve. In the meantime if you need us we are here for you no matter what.

I will continue to keep you in my thoughts and prayers....

Hellen - I am so very sorrry to hear about your m/c. My m/c was by far the hardest thing I ever had to deal with. I got involved with alot of m/c support sites and they were really helpful to me. Take time to allow yourselves to grieve.

This board is not as active as it used to be since alot of people are on breaks or in the process of moving on, but there is always a world of support here and you are always welcome back. I am still lurking b/c I want to follow all of my friends stories.
