Hi all you TTC ladies,
I'm new here and hope to make lots of great friends and learn to be patient! Wedn. on CD10 I go in for a follie check to see how far along I am. I'm reall hoping this will be my cycle! Only God knows when and if it will ever happen to me. I know I have been TTC for about 6 yrs but I really need to chat with gals who have been through the rollercoaster!
Has anyone else worn the climara (estrogen patch) while taking clomid and Met ? Thanks in advance

Dx PCOS 12/03
Dx Hypothyroid 06/04
6 clomid cycles with first Gyno. nothing
Transfer to infertility OBGYN
1-3 cycles Clomid! no "o"
4th round femara 5mg and clomid 200mg no "o'
69 day cycle !!
Ovarian Drilling>>8/09/05<<success..tubes clear and cysts gone!! Small amount of Endo removed!
8/05. took month off due to surgery. Started AF without meds! Only a 33 day cycle !!
9/05 2.5 mg femara cd3-7. CD12 19mm follie!!
10/05 2.5 mg femara cd3-7 "O" on cd 13!
BFP at 11DPO! FEMARA WORKS!

Stacy, Welcome I have been TTC#1 for 3 years today actually and I know what it is like. I have been on clomid for 8 months now at 50mg and I am starting a estrogen and progesterone supplement this month. There are alot of helpful and very nice women on here and I hope that we all can be of some help to you. I wish you lots of luck .

Thanks so much for your replys! I hope this is my cycle, it took years just to figure out what was wrong with me, now that I know I don't ovulate on my own, clomid seems to be the first plan of action. Wishing you all baby dust! Anyone know how big the follies have to be for the trigger shot??

Most places say over 20mm to trigger.

I've been TTC on and off for 5 years, took me 4 and a half of those to get my diagnosis. I also have pcos and hypoT. I take Metformin and thyroxine (will be adding clomid when AF shows). I will be having scans to check for follies. I've done clomid before on its own (no met, no scans) and I was told by my prog numbers I hadnt O'd, even though it regulated my cy loads.

I have been reading lots of postings on many forums but like this forum the best. I finally registered this morning.

Our history:
DH-diag w/ no sperm in 2001
Me-Diag w/ PCOS in 2002

What luck huh? Sometimes I feel so overwhelmed with our fertility difficulties, especially when people around us are having babies or getting pregnant all the time. Baby showers and birthdays are so hard to bear. I often ask "why us?" when we are reasonably good people who yearn for a family so dearly.
Anyone else feels this way or am I just selfish?

Anyhow, we have recently decided to do DIUI(donor sperm insemination). I am on metformin 1500mg/day and Letrozole. I got my day 12 us and bw yesterday and I only have one large follicle of 18mm on the right side. My lining was 8 mm. All my eggs in one basket as the doctor said. Doctor said I was not ready for IUI and must use the OPK(ovulation predictor kit) to monitor for my LH surge. I did my first test this morning and did not find a surge. Today is day 13.

Anyone have DIUI experience to share? I desparately need support in this endeavor. It is normal to have 18mm follicle on my day 12? How realistic it is that I can get pregnant on the first try? It is so expensive and insurance does not cover anything.

I appreciate any experience you can share.

Hi there samgirl I have diui this last month was our first time of doing this. I was also wondering what the chances are of becoming pg on the first try it could get very expensive have you done the IUI yet???
