Another cycle's over
18 dpiui today. Took that hpt just because I've been having a bad feeling... Turns out I was right.
Still have to go in for the beta tomorrow. Hopefully they can give me an idea of what my protocol will be for the next cycle.

Re: Another cycle's over
Hi, Meghan. I am just sitting here checking out the boards. I also received a bfn this morning It really stinks.
It looks like you just did an injection/IUI cycle. I did too. How many has it been for you?

Re: Another cycle's over
Hi Jenn,
BFN suck, don't they?
This was our 1 injectables cycle, our 4th IUI cycle (3 w/clomid) we did 6 cyles of clomid prior to IUI's. How about you? I'm wondering if they will change my drugs for next cycle, or just up the dosage - we did straigh gonal-f. How about you?

Re: Another cycle's over
I did 2 IUI's w/ Clomid failed. I cancelled Clomid cycle due to no follicular growth, & 2 Repronex/IUI cycles; failed. So, this was also my 4th IUI.
I think they'll keep me on the same regimen, as I am "still young" they say.

Re: Another cycle's over
just wanted to tell you two not to give up. How was your reaction to Gonal F? I did 3 IUIs before getting PG. The 1st 2 injectable cycles were on Follistim, then I ran out of that and b.c my RE does not like the new pens that Follistim is made from, I switched to Gonal F. I had a very slow reaction. Started on cd#3 and went in on cd#8.I barely had any foolicles, like 2, and they were both like 10 mm. I was doing 1 vial per night. They upped me to 1.5 amps per night and was checked again on cd#11. I had 1 follie measuring 18mm on cd#11. The nurse told me that I was a poor responder and not to expect this to work. She sent me home with IVF info., and I cried all the way. Later than day I was shocked to get an e2 level of 400+ and was told to trigger that night. IUI was cd#13 and at 13 dpiui...I got my 1st BFP in my life after TTC for almost 4 years. I know the agony and struggles and it makes me cry to think of what we suffered through.
Wishing you the best!!
Kerri

Re: Another cycle's over
Thanks for the support ladies!
The beta was negative, as we expected. Yesterday was a hard day, but I feel better today. As for next cycle, I'll be on the same regimen - Gonal-F, b2b iui's,progesterone. Probably start at a higher dosage though. Hopefully we will produce more follies to give us a better chance of success!
Jenn - Good luck next cycle!
Kerri - How are things going for you?

Re: Another cycle's over
Hey Meghan,
I'm sorry about the BFN, I hope that this next cycle turns out to be the one for you! I really think the first cycle on new meds is like a test run anyway since they don't know how you'll respond. Hopefully they have a better handle on it now and like you said you'll have more follies and a better chance at success. I'm rooting for you all the way! Good luck!!
