Good thing I went in today because Im already dialated to a good 3cm (and yes with an extremely low head)! I was shocked and kept on saying WHAT?!?!, Im WHAT?!?! So Im on bedrest, allowed to only get up and use the bathroom. And if anything starts back up, GO GO GO to the hospital (since I have fast labors). He asked me how far from the hospital I lived because he doesnt want me to have it in the car. Its too late to stop labor if it happens now. He says within the week. So every cramp pressure I have, Im paranoid. So please hope for mature enough lungs.

So looks like Im gonna have a definate May baby (sorry June). YAY for Emeralds (sorry Pearls)! Will it be tomorrow...who knows. But I always end up going into labor a day after an appt. And he wasn't that nice checking me either. Boy that was uncomfy. Plus today is one of those emptying out days again. So its not that far away.

Bad timing since the boys are sick with nasty colds. Knowing my luck, Ill wake up with it that will send me into labor.

Btw, I got swabbed for that one test. Hope Im negative for that.

I'm worried about #3 for us, when we decide to have #3. Jack was born at 39 weeks, Lily at 37......maybe #3 at 35 weeks! Scary thought, but there's a great chance your baby's lungs are just fine now and you won't have any NICU time.


Still, I can't wait to see pics of your baby!

I am so sorry sweetie. I hope you can get to 36 weeks but if not everything will be ok. When Deana was born at 34.3 weeks she was breathing on her own and only had temp and feeding issues and you are a week ahead of that so i would say the only issues would be feeding.

Wow, Rachel!! How in the world did you get so far along?!? Where did the time go? Hope that baby stays tight for a few more days at least, although I'm sure everything will be fine if s/he comes early. I know lots of babies that have arrived around 35 weeks that did fine. Can't wait to find out what you have in there!

Yay Rachel! I really hope that baby cooks for at least another week for you! How exciting though, we will finally know what you are having! Alex was born at 35 and 6 and his lungs were not mature. So, while most of the time things are ok, sometimes they need a little extra help to get breathing correctly

Still ticking away. Lounging as much as I can, baking this mystery baby longer.

I got my parents and dh helping. I just need help for feedings (breakfast and lunch). Afternoons are easy since Carson naps and Isaac has school (but his non school days are still easy to manage).

I hope you can make it one more week. Awesome your family is helping out.
