Candes, I am right there with you!! Trying not to eat white sugar or flour this week has sucked. I don't eat that much (at least most of the carbs we have are whole grain) but the more I can't have it, the more I think about it!! I told dh I needed him on board, too, and he has not been complaining about meals but he brought home Reese's last night. Come on, man!! I have a very hard time eating mostly protein and vegetables as there isn't a lot of protein (well, meat) I really love. I have resorted to eating peanut butter as a treat (Adams only has 1 g of sugar per serving). It is sad. lol Please let me know how you and Todd do with the WW plan! I still have a few pg pounds hanging around and dh has more than a few.

I skipped nursing on the side with thrush in the middle of the night and now this morning the after pains in the ducts are WICKED. I thought it was getting better but damn. One of my friends described it as shards of glass repeatedly stabbing inside her boob and I tend to agree with this. I remember thinking when I had it 3 years ago, now I understand why Van Gogh cut off his own ear. j

Enough pity. lol Rosalie, glad you checked in! I hope the KG interview goes really well. Update!

Amy, your poor girl. I am bad just like you and baby Hayden when she gets hurt. I have even cried along with her. Really stoic, I know. As for padding, what we have on our table and rock fireplace is foam pipe covering from HD. It is far cheaper than those padding things in the baby proofing aisle. It has adhesive already on it and we used duct tape when we had two seams coming together. I used it with Hayden, also, and was able to get the extra adhesive off the table with a little Goo Gone or similar.

Andy, nice to hear your sale was successful! OUr friends are holding one this weekend and I may bring a few things over, if I can get dh's help to price and move the stuff. I have no idea how to transfer stuff from an old computer to a new, except a few files at a time. Hope you figure it out relatively painlessly. So you are still moving schools at the end of the year? I presume this, if you are cleaning out your classroom. Good luck.

Not much going on here! I am exhausted!!!! I am having a hard time finding energy to do anything and my house reflects it. I don't remember my house being this messy in a long time. It is so bad that I am now overwhelmed and don't know where to start.

We are having a multi-family yard sale this weekend and I haven't even started getting my stuff ready. I need to get off my butt and actually get something done this week. I guess I did 5 loads of laundry on Monday, but this is crazy!

Sorry I can't write more but we have guests coming and they are staying in our bedroom which is where I hide all the stuff when guests come over and hang out in the living room so I have some serious clutter to pick up...Anyway...

Candes - I was in your same place just a few weeks ago and I got the Maker's Diet & started reading it and following some of the plan - not all of it quite yet because we had so many celebrations that it was unrealistic. I knew I had to do something about my carb & sugar addiction. I was actually getting uneasy about it and my clothes had stopped fitting. I had to go cold turkey for a week with no sweets or carbs and it wasn't easy but I got through it with prayer. My stomach got a little flatter, I swear! All I ate was lean protein and fruits and veggies.
gotta go - good luck - you can do it.

Amy- I am so sorryLily has a Boo Boo.

Candes- I hear ya i have been sidetracked with my weightloss since Deana's surgery. I need to get back on track. DH's foot/Leg it's some sort of ligament strain/tendonitis thing from going on the ladder alot. His work is crap at OHS so it's really stuffed him up. So he has to go on worker comp., and so some u/s and xrays. His boss is in idiot and was still going to put him on full duties if he came back, so the insurance comp. said it needs to heal first.
He was planning on changing jobs but now this sets him back.

Melissa- I am so sorry with all your BF iisues that really does suck.

Well we had the interview today and am so relieved that it's over, i was really freaking out.
Well the principal was great, put me right at ease didn't really ask everything i was freaking out about.
Well most of it was talking to Marcus he was pretty good abit fidgety(sp?). He did great with colours and counting he said some kids don't even get that and of course did great drawings. He didn't finish writing his name but that's new for him and i mentioned that. We talked about his ST and he was great about it and said a special need co-ordinator will contact me about it. My hope is that he will have caught up by the time school starts in 8 months.
He also asked how we hear about the school etc.. The only question he had was regars to us not living in that are at present but once we told him that Marcus goes to preschool in that area and we are moving to the area soon he was very pleased.
He was talking like he is already in and telling us about parent night and orientation in Oct/Nov.We will know for sure in August. He said Marcus was pretty well behaved he said that some kids in the past have went through his bag, used his cell phone, gone under the table, and wouldn't listen to the parents.
So it went well. Sorry to go on it's such a big deal for us.It felt surreal for all of us and that this will be part of our life.

Rosalie, that's wonderful the interview went so well. Just curious, are you sending him to a private kindy and that's why he needed to be interviewed or is this a process all kids go through. And what would have happened if it didn't go well? Would he have to go somewhere else?

Candes, I have a lot of friends who have been very successful on WW. It really teaches you about portion control and the content in different foods. The nice thing about it is the reward points. You'll still get your carbs and sugars, just after you've been good for so long. I think the most healthy way to eat is vegan, but it's a lifestyle I'm not sure I could commit to. I like too many non-vegan things and my attachment to food is too great.

Have any of you ever sold anything on ebay? I have my cloth diapers on there right now and I realized that I really don't know what to do when they are sold! I have a Pay Pal account, but I am not sure how to get them my info. I obviously don't want to just hand over my bank acct. Is ebay going to help me at all or am I just going to get an email address once they've sold. I probably should have looked into all of this before I placed stuff online, huh?

Someday I'll be organized....

I LOVE ebay and have feedback of over 700...so um yeah I've sold a few things

It's actually insanely easy.....Once they have won something, the will click on a button that says PAY NOW..., it takes them into paypal (who has your email address) and they just click PAY NOW and it will automaticlaly go into your paypal account if you are registered with paypal...unles sof course you said you accept checks, but I rarely do this. Once it is in paypal you can transfer the money to your bank account.

Ask any questions but really it is so easy, I make so much money off my kids clothes it's ridiculous

I have wheat bread baking from scratch (I don't have a bread machine) and it's my first attempt at bread baking but I'm very excited about it. It has 2 tablespoons plus one half-teaspoon of brown sugar in it and that's it for the whole loaf! I've never used whole wheat flour either but it smells yummy!

It's a catholic school, so all kids have to go through an interview it also has great reviews. However for all catholic schools you do have to go to an interview. Most school accept non-catholic students too but that is only if they have room. But since they can only accept 80 kindergarten kids a year i was worried. For public schools there is no interview since they have to take everyone.Yes if they say had too many kids from their area enrolling then we would have to look at other schools. Also in our area the public schools aren't that great. I also went to catholic school and it was a great experience, wheras DH went to a public school and he hated it. It's a great price aswell. I pay more for preschool then i will for kindergarten.

I sell stuff on ebay all the time yep very easy, you just need to type in your paypal address.

Oh and it was end of school when we finished and it was utter chaos. We are lucky that this school has a carpark for the parents since not many around here to man it was hard getting out of there. A taste of the future..
