ttc for 1 year? where is everyone?

hey ladies i think we need a picker upper! we need to get this post moving along! i'm sure there are more of us who have been ttc for a year or more!! hello?? are you out there?

Hi; I'm officially here now!
I've been trying for exactly one year now.
I saw a dr yesterday for the first time and need to have a bunch of testing done upon my bfn this time around.
I have no idea what is wrong with DH or I, and we're both healthy and young so it's extra puzzling how I found myself here.
Hope things pick up, It will be nice to have some company here

hey im at a year and 2 months! haha nice to meet you. my problem isn't conceiving its sustaining the pregnancy! dh and i are waiting for our chromo results.. also my last mc the baby tissue was sent to the lab and i'll be finding out the results any day now!

gosh i'm so sorry! that has got to be really hard. I pray that this is "it" for me. I can't think of much else than that lately!!!

Hi, we have been ttc for 14 months now. DH and I are both 29. My cycles have steadied to about 30/31 days. Af always stays for 5 days. The last time she was here ( 16-02-06), she stayed for not even 2days and left 2days of spotting. By this time I am so depressed, I went to see my dr. He said an abnormal AF might mean something. So he did a HPT, and. . . It showed BFP. This was what should be Cd6. He sends me to the lab for a bloodtest but it comes back negative. Dr's advise? Wait and see if AF shows up next month! I'm like: Are you kiddin me? There is no way I can wait till then. I tried a HPT at home, but it was BFN. I really don't understand. Does the dr use a better brand? The ladies at the lab was really sweet. They said it could just be too early for the hcg to show up in my blood.

Christina and Daisy, I'm glad you posted this post. I have been lurking here for about 2months now and finally found a post I wanted to be part of.
I have no real systoms except slighty sore boobies. I am to scared to get my hopes up because you know the coming down can be very unpleasant.

Stina, I hope your next bean is very sticky!

It seems that everyone is getting pregnant. Just see how many celebs are also pg. It feels like some fantasy I hear about but isn't a reality.
Why do we have to wait sooooo loooonggg. . .

hey carmkat! i wish you didn't have to go through this waiting i know how hard it is. my dr. always says everything looks good.. then we see a slow hb and he says wait it out.. wait until you start to spot that's all we can do. that's great huh? so insensitive sometimes. know they mean well, but our minds wander around all of the posibilities. it is very hard to come down from having your hopes so high. i also, did that with my last pregnancy. i just KNEW everything was gonna be good.. my SIL and i were only 4 days apart with our pregnancies.. now she is 4 days ahead of what i should be! that is so very hard for me. seeing her u/s pictures and the little bean in her belly, it's so heart breaking. i think for your own sake and heart don't get too excited until you are in the clear.. h/b high and hungry as all hell! haha.

if you don't mind me asking: have you had any tests done? are you on any treatments after 14 months? just wondering whats up with your situation? TIA

Hi Stina, I tested again this morning. Nothing. I really wonder what the dr did to get a positive. And fake + is not common is it?
I have had no tests done so far. My first dr said I am young and healthy. Now I have a new dr because we moved. He gave me a lab form. I am suppose to go to the lab for glucose, insulen and thyroid tests. I'm not sure if I should wait the three weeks and then only go or what? They cost money.

Last night I spent hours reading about HPT's like on peeonastick.com. And I have to go out of town week after next for a course. So I will loose out on dtd time with hubby. O should be in the middle of the week.

Furthermore I'm still taking my prenatal vitamins and drinking decaf coffee.

I WANT MY STICKY BEAN !!!!

Glad we're not alone here. I have had a rough time with all of the bfn's like I"m sure everyone has. I am on prozac now because it was getting unbearable. It's helped a little but not enough honestly. I'm just starting to do the testing and whatnot now. Once I get my bfn this time around (a couple more days...)I can do my day 3 testing and an hsg. I'm terrified to be totally honest. I dont want to. BUt i know I need to get this show on the road and figure out what is wrong to fix it. DH had an SA done a month ago and we STILL do not have the results. no idea what is up there; the dr wont' call him back iether. anyhow...thats my story.

wow! a month and still no answers? i know it's been 3+ weeks since the fetal tissure was sent to the lab and i still don't have results. i'm waiting but this is taking forever! i want answers NOW!!!

Well ladies i wish us all luck i think we really need it.
