Hi! I am trying to decide what type of sling to get. My baby is due in the end of June, and we live in AZ. So, iam looking for something cool and comfy that Iam able to BF in.
Has anyone tried the Oopa or the taylor made slings? I have been looking at those as well as the Maya and hotslings...

any advice is well appriciated!

The Oopa is out of my price range and I don't think I would reccomend it for a newborn- I just couldn't imagine trying to get spit up out of my new $180 silk sling!

I'm a plus sized mama and I love my hotsling and my kkap. I'm also a big fan of a mei tai carrier even for a very young baby. Good luck and happy babywearing!

i have a Maya extra large, it fits both me and my husband just great, but it is HOT in the summer. even though it's 100% cotton and breatheable. it's very sturdy fabric. i'm not sure if they make a lighter one? i've heard good things about mesh slings in hot weather.
