Default Sling questions

I've been having a hard time carrying aidan in the sling. attached is a pic of him in it. do you see the rings, is it ok that they're that low and off to the side? i thought it should be a little lower below the shoulder blade, or does it really matter? he also seems like he's slouchy - but he must be comfortable, cause he fell asleep in it.

next question is the legs. i don't know if i have it way too tight, but when i remove aidan from the sling in this position, he has a red mark on the back of the thighs. is this normal?

is there a site that can show me instruction on the craddle carry? the maya video really doesn't help me much. when i have aidan in that position, his head seems all crooked & uncomfortable. i think i'm putting him in there wrong & i can't seem to get it right.

Ok first the shoulder will probably be more comfy if you can manage to spread it out more. Its scootching towards your neck and you'll be able to spread it better on your back if its spread all the way on your shoulder. He looks really comfy. If you are having problems with marks you can loosen the bottom rail just a bit. Light marks ar ok but you dont want red marks. You can also use the tail as light padding along the bottom rail too. As far as the rings, most people want them up higher but if its comfy for you then it doesnt matter. If you start with them higher than you intend then they will end up just below your shoulder blade. I prefer mine about where you have yours, its just ore comfy for me. Goodluck! www.TheBabyWearer.com also has some trouble shooting instructions for common sling problems.
