How easy is it for you to nurse in it? Is it comfortable? Also, when did you get it?

I've heard good and bad about them...

What I can remember is that the biggest complaints are thet they lac the versitilty of a lightly padded ring sling and have quite a bit of bulk to them. this can make nursing a little tricky but I'm sure you will get the hang of it BUT! If baby really likes a lower cradle hold or a hip hold, they are really great from what I hear

I had one with my now 18yodd and I loved it. I have heard that they are not as nice as some of the newer slings and I ordered a Maya Wrap for my newesst addittion, mostly because I love the fabric and the look of the open tail. I didn't use the Nojo un til dd was about three months old but I did use an OTSB for my son when he was a newborn and they are similar. The padding did get a bit overwhelming at times with a tiny, but I still think that they are good slings and you certainly can't beat the price.

Be aware that not all babies like the cradle hold, which is only one way to use a ring sling, so if yours is one of those babies, try a different hold instead of giving up the sling altogether.

Nursing in it was easy and I was able to get the housework done while nursing the babe. If you are in a situation where you feel like "covering up", it is much more comfortable for the babe to do so with a sling than with a blanket.

If any low income mamas happen to be reading this, I see perfectly serviceable Nojos in thrift shops all the time, usually for under $10. They may not be the best carriers available in 2007, but they are certainly adequate and a very economical choice.

It's funny to get an answer now since I posted that last year.

I've since had my NOJO and moved on to unpadded ring slings (DS HATED the Nojo, I could never get the rails tight enough for him to be secure, and couldn't to any upright carries b/c the padding was TOO THICK.. might work well for overweight mamas or daddies with big kids or toddlers though). And then after that wraps and mei tais. Still have the mei tai love!!! And they are so much easier and more supportive than slings, IMO!

But hey, any mama reading this, I'll send you mine free for shipping, including the DVD! (I'm too lazy to post it anywhere for sale/trade).

I'm glad you did find somethikng you like Sunny. I'm still using an Ellaroo ring sling just about every day. I very rarely use a stroller even now B/C Reece lives on my hip in the sling. I have a Mei Tai too and really like it, but Reece likes to change positions so much (from hip to hip to laying down to nursing)that I tend to stick w/ the sling.

I think it's a good thing to have a couple different options to carry baby.
