Default new ergo style - anyone have it yet?

does anyone have this yet? I am looking at ordering it so I can start wearing Emma more - the pouch is killing me & I don't want a wrap or sling & think dh might wear this too.

I bought one in camel and really like it. It is my first ergo, so I can't compare it with their old one. But it is working great for us!

I did not like it. For me it was a pain in the arse.

This is my next try. I need to find something. This baby needs to be held. And he weighs 18 lbs. at 4 months so a regular carrier is not an option anymore.

I just got one and we love it! Its very comfortable for extended periods of time. It only took me a few times to learn how to get my son in and out . (hes about 20lbs) There is a 90 day money back guarantee so its worth a try!

have both the old and the new and since I am "newer" to baby wearing I haven't tried much else. My first daughter hated all slings and carriers so we just gave up. Now that I have the ergos for Lily, they seem more exciting to Maya I like the hood on the new Ergo better than the old one. The older version was not long enough for older children IMO. I am going to use them both to see if I like one better than the other and then I may sell off the unloved version. My husband just refuses to wear one!

I just received this one in the mail today. I was deciding between the Ergo and the Patapum and settled on the Patapum because it sounded like a lot of moms were concerned they didn't feel like baby was securely settled in the pouch while back carrying with the Ergo (I hear the Ergo's pouch is a little more shallow). The Patapum also comes in a larger toddler size. On the website below the price says $68.99 but when you add it to your cart it is $44.95. DD slept in it for 2 hours this afternoon after we got it and I didn't have any discomfort in my shoulders or back. I got it in Khaki as I felt I was always removing the lint from my black BB Active.

I'm a 1st time Ergo user & LOVE it! I have the new version in black & bug print. I'm using it for my toddler who is 2 1/2 & 28#. She always loved riding in the Bjorn but outgrew it. Then we moved on to our Eddie Bauer frame backpack which worked great, but we were always bumping into stuff with it. Then I had the itch to try the Ergo. I had no idea that carrying a toddler could be that comfy! We have walked for fairly long distances & my body hasn't been a bit tired. I thought my other 2 carriers were comfortable, but compared to the Ergo, they were killers. It must be due to the way the Ergo lets all of baby's weight rest right on my rear. It doesn't pull down on my shoulders at all compared to the others. Khloe likes it too. It doesn't squish her too tightly, so she's got a little freedom, & we got used to loading up on my back in no time.

I am new to babywearing and have just started, using an Ergo. My daughter is 20 months and about 27 - 28 lbs now and I spent the last 3 days wearing her about 3 - 4 hours a day. We both love it and it´s absolutely easy on my back!
Due to a bad purchase (initially bought the old model without knowing) I can tell you the differences. New one has a better head-hood (the one on the old model is not useable for my child), the new model is better for older babys since it is a bit higher/taller (0.8 inches), the part where the baby is seated is about 0.4 inches wider. That´s all I can think of right now, basically I liked the old one a lot but the new one has exactly what I thought inadequate on the old one.
