Well, my MIL gave me a over the shoulder baby holder, and it's a size M, which is probably too small for me, but it doesn't feel too small. Thing is, it feels the best when I'm wearing it when it is really, really tightened, so I don't think it's the size that I'm having problems with. But anyway, my specific problem is that I have no instructions for it, and the printed instructions I've found online just don't cut it - they make no sense at all and I still can't figure out how to lay my baby down for the nursing position. She fits fine in it tummy-to-tummy, but she's only 5 weeks old, very little neck control, so I have to keep both of my hands on her in that position and I wanted to be able to have a little more freedom in it. Also, it takes me FOREVER to put the dang thing on. I have a ring sling and a hotsling-type slign in the mail (bought on eBay) and I'm trying to find the "right" sling for me. I've heard such nice things about the OTSBH I didn't want to just give it a half-hearted try and then say "Nope, this sucks". Any ideas? help? Anyone have the instructional video/dvd that came with theirs that they can send me? Is there any way to tighten just one of the padded rails, or is that impossible because it's not an open-tail? I'm still new to the "not just a snugli" kind of babywearing, so bear with me.
Thanks in advance! (x-posting this to due-in-december because I know there were several slingers there.)
