Transitioning baby from Sleeping in arms to bed
My baby will only stay sleep on my chest or my husband's chest. He is put to sleep either nursing or bouncing. He has reflux (kept in check with medicine) and was born a preemie (now at 4 months adjusted age). I've had some success getting him down after he's totally asleep, but only for short sleeps (up to 45 min). He has only napped for an hour a handful of times. We plan to put NCSS in place next week, but am wondering if other parents here have had experience with not only applying NCSS, but transitioning baby sleeping on a human being to a bed? Any tips would be appreciated!
We are trying to get him in a co-sleeper at the moment. Success would be to get him sleeping there in at least 3-hour intervals for now...
