Default short naps - need help

Hi- I am new here and I am reading the No-Cry book right now. My baby is almost 2 1/2 months and in the past 2 weeks she has gone from good long naps 1-2 hours at a time to 30 minutes at the max all day long - she probaby takes 4-5 of them a day. I am not sure what to do. As soon as she wakes she is rubbing her eyes and irritated. I can tell she is still tired but won't ever go beyond 30 min. So I pick her up nurse, rock her and put her back down and it's the same. I can't do this all day long...lol.

At night I put her down around 9 or 9:30 and she is easy...she wakes up every 3-4 hours to nurse.

Any tips/advice on the naps?

Thanks!!!

hi snoopylex,
i wonder if reading some of the old posts would help you?
i found them to be a fantastic resource.
especially the posts by SPROUTY, because our situations were almost identical. you might find my posts ('love&light' - anything with 'nap' in the title) useful too. i had some terrific advice from the board goddessess.
everything i've learned about naps, i've learned from the wise women of the mssg board.
briefly though, the single most important nap tip i have is - try to determine how much time AWAKE is right for your bub. i wrote a bit on this to 'magpiered' last night. i wonder if there might be something useful in there for you?
i would love to talk more with you, but i'm afraid it's morning here & i have a hungry wee boy on my lap.

best of luck

love&light
