Default Need some help starting out! :)

Hello!

I am so excited to find some support for helping my LO sleep without CIO! All my friends use CIO and I refuse to use this method.
I recently ordered the book "No Cry Sleep Solutions" and have to wait two weeks for it to come. I need some support/help in the meantime. I suppose I am wondering where to start before I get the book.

My LO is 7 months old but was born 3 months early so her adjusted age is 4 months. (I'd say developmentally she is closer to her actual age).

My problems with her sleep:

She only falls asleep at the breast and when I put her down she wakes up crying or only sleeps for 20 minutes (this is for naps).

At night she will sleep 8-9 hours straight but won't sleep until 11-12. She is overtired at this time so won't go down easy. Lots of on breast, off breast, on breast, off breast. AT night she sleeps in a bassinet in our room. For her naps she sleeps in her crib.

Goals:
Have at least two good naps! (Morning and afternoon)

Go to bed earlier...somewhere around 7-8pm.

Thanks for the advice! I am looking forward to the support )
