Default incorporating several steps

I replyed to my own post, so not sure if you received this. thank you for your help, was wondering if you could give some suggestions on how to imcorporate phasing into the crib and the gentle removal plan together. I'm not sure how to pull the pacifier out and lay her in the crib before she wakes.

Default Re: incorporating several steps

I would put her down in the crib sleepy, with the pacifier in... then when her sucking slows, I'd try to take the pacifier out. If it upsets her, put it back in (as per the book) and wait again until the sucking slows and try again... keep doing this until it works... however if this whole process just annoys her and wakes her more, then try again at the next nightwaking... eventually it will work at some point even if it's a few weeks from now... requires patience for sure! Does this explanation make sense? Let me know
