This may have been posted about, and if it has, I apologize.

I'm new to CDing and can't figure out what to do about poop getting on the leg gussets of my diaper covers. I use prefolds with Bummis Super Brite and Thirsty's covers. My son poops three or four times a day (at 18 months) so this is a big problem. Anyone have any suggestions? It is possible that the covers are slightly too big for him--they kind of gap out at the crotch if he sits down, but he never leaks out of the covers. It may also be that the prefolds are too big. I have to fold them over about 4-5 inches.

I'd like to narrow the possible solutions down before I start buying more things!
