Hey mamas, I am new here and new to CD'ing. I was so excited to see this board, and I've loved reading a lot of the backposts.

So far I have just done PF's and covers but I will branch out as we go. My mom is planning to sew me some covers and dipes so I am on the lookout for any good pattern or material suggestions.

Here is my son in his first CD, it took me three tries to get it situated and even then I made the mistake of letting some of the inside fluff poke out the leghole a little, oops. I am learning though The picture isn't great quality because my little darling threw the camera down when we were on a trip last weekend and now it only focuses when it gets good and ready, which is almost none of the time.



Can't wait to get to know you ladies a little more!! I'm sure I'll have tons of questions for you at some point.

I think I can help you out on the diaper making front.... I found this on youtube, it may be helpful.

If you google free diaper patterns, you will come up with so much! It's just a matter of choosing what you like

Getting the right materials is the tricky part. I'd recommend starting out with a site like this....
PUL, hemp, organic cotton and bamboo diaper fabric
Which sells appropriate diaper making materials. So no guess work
