Hi, ladies. New here on this site. I have a three week old son...well, just under three weeks old. The first two days we were home, he slept just fine in his crib. Now he doesn't like the crib and so we've been sleeping together on the couch, with him curled next to me. I'm a very, very light sleeper and so his every little move wakes me up. I'd really like to try sleeping in our bed, but am not sure how to make the bed safe for him to sleep in...any tips?

Eeek! The bed is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay safer than the couch!! There are some tips in the welcome post on how to make your bed safe for baby. Basically, just make it like a big crib... no pillows, bedding, etc should be by baby. Have the bed up to a wall to prevent falls. No tummy sleeping for baby. That's about all I can think of off the top of my head, lol.
