Default Kids co-sleeping

We co-slept with our oldest son who is now 5, and now he is on a mattress in our room and we co-sleep with our 13 month old son. DH thinks we should eventually move the boys into a bed together in their own room, but i am thinking that they should be in their own beds. What do you think? Any experience with this?

Default Re: Kids co-sleeping

My 5.5 year old sleeps next to our bed, and our 2 year old is in our bed with us. Whenever my 2 y.o. decides he wants to, we'll have both boys start out in one bed together, they have bunk beds in their room, so we'll start them on the bottom bunk. Then whenever our older son wants to, he can move to the top bunk and the little guy will stay on the bottom. I think it's a good idea to have them transition out of your room together when they're ready.
