Re: How long are you planning on co-sleeping?
We just let the kids decide when they want to leave it seems for us to be after the 4 yr mark, so right now we have the 3,2,1, and soon a new born with us, sometimes my 4 and 6 yr old DD's sneak in in the middle of the night.

Re: How long are you planning on co-sleeping?
Our kids all slept with us until they were about 5 or 6 & then they moved into their own bed in a shared bedroom. Our youngest is 2 1/2 & still co-sleeping & nursing.

Re: How long are you planning on co-sleeping?
I find it funny that people keep asking me these "planning: questions. "How long are you planning on nursing?" "When do you plan your next pregnancy?" "When do you plan to return to work?" They all assume I plan this stuff!
The point is, I never "planed" to co-sleep (which I didn't even know it was called until a month or so after ds was born), but we didn't have a crib at first. It is SO much nicer for bfing at night! I asume we won't do this forver, but I also know I don't need a definate timeline for it right now.

Re: How long are you planning on co-sleeping?
DH and I have to stay at my parent's house right now due to some daycare problems while we're going to college. There's not enough room for a crib in there, but when we did have room DS still slept in bed with us. Not sure how long he'll stay there. I know he'll have to be off the paci when he moves because he expects me to give it to him when he wakes up at night. But he sleeps all night through and isn't too hard to sleep with (although he's a little squirmy worm!). He's a bit over 9 months now and I guess I'll move him to a bed when I think he's ready. He's my first child so no prior experience.

Re: How long are you planning on co-sleeping?
Our daughter is still in our bed at 21 months. I can't see her at this point want ing to sleep in her sparkly new toddler bed. First I wasted all that money on a beautiful crib and now I think we wasted money on her toddler bed. I guess she will let us know when she is ready to be left all alone in her bed.

Re: How long are you planning on co-sleeping?
Our almost 6 year old ds sleeps in our room next to our bed, and our 26.5 mos old is still in our bed, so whenever they're ready to move into their room together is when we'll no longer be co-sleeping, whenever that is,lol. So we have no plan. We get lots of sleep, we're comfortable and happy, no desire to mess with that.
