Hi. Many of you know my story about my baby girl Isabella and her disease. I just wanted to say that co-sleeping has been ONE OF THE BEST things dh and I ever did with our baby. In the PICU it wasn't allowed because of liability issues. It made me sooo mad. The final night, when we knew she was going to die, the wonderful nurse brought in a full sized bed so Izzy and I could sleep together. I truly believe it was a factor in her surviving through the night.

Soooo many people did not understand why we chose to co-sleep. Some of the comments were very unkind and judgmental. We didn't intend for it to happen. We tried to put her in her crib but we all just got a much better night's rest when she was in bed with us. We loved waking up and seeing her there. We loved feeling her breath on us and her smell. I will NEVER regret sleeping with my baby girl every night!

Love to all and your babies,
Jessy

Thank you for sharing. This type of thing is one of the reasons we haven't moved Colleen out of our bed yet. And why we want to create a "family sleeping room" .

((((hugs)))) to your whole family.
