Default Co-sleeping troubles

My partner and I have been cosleeping with our now 3 month old twin infants since they were born. At first I loved cosleeping but now that they are older, they are very fidgety sleepers. We even swaddle them every night, but Áine can wiggle and kick her way out of the special swaddle blanket. I frequently find her lying diagonal across the bed. Mind you, we have a queen sized bed, so quarters are tight and I can't get away from these fidgety sleepers. I'm getting to the end of my rope and I am not sure I can continue cosleeping with them. I do love to cosleep when they are still, but if they move a lot they wake me up and I desperately need some sleep. Any suggestions from veteran cosleeping parents? Will this fidgety stage end soon?

How are the twins lined up in bed ? Is one only fidgety ? do you sleep 'next to your partner and twins are both on your side or are they sometimes on your partner side or is there one on each side ?

3 months they usually outgrow swaddle blankets so have you tried to stop swaddling them in bed to see if they would be less fidgety if there is not a blanket for them to work out of ?

I second the fact that they might be done with swaddling....
On another note as a semi-veteran co-sleeper (still doing it at 17months) If you really want to stop I say do it sooner than later. It is really true (in my opinion). We have had them almost completely in their cribs so many times and then the little excuses creep up....Oh a cold, going way etc. Now I feel like we are to the point of no return. That being said I still LOVE, LOVE, LOVE having them in the bed. And I would totally do it again! Some nights DH and I just wonder if they will be there 17 yrs from now! And they too are very fidgety and we only have a queen. Know any good sales on King sized mattresses?
