Icon11 Co-Sleeping problems

I have co slept with Jacqueline since she was born, except for the 2 weeks she was in NICU, I honestly love it. Lately though she hardly sleeps, ends up kicking me or dh or both of us, and is a bed hog, she wakes up tired and is tired all day long. To top it off, I had to get a crown on my teeth on Monday and was in so much pain, and monday night she woke up and kicked me in the mouth, oh my god it was so painful, i was crying.

Dh thinks we should move her to her crib, she does start out there, but she wakes up to nurse, still, so when she wakes up she is in bed with us. I am torn on this, I love having my baby, who is also my last baby ever in bed with us, I love when she snuggles up to me. Anyway, I guess I was just wondering if you guys had any advice. thanks

I know it's rough, but it sounds like she's ready to sleep on her own. I co-slept with my daughter off and on, but a few months ago she flat out refused to even nap with me. The first day I laid her down in her crib, though, she fell asleep with very little fussing, and slept perfectly all night. That's just her personality, she is a very light sleeper and just needed some peace and quiet alone to sleep well. It sounds to me like you would all probably sleep better if she were in her bed. How old is she? She's adorable, btw.

We have a toddler bed next to our bed. Works quite well with the bed hogs! Sometimes it helps to just move them once they are asleep! Good luck!

I was going to suggest a bed in your room for her as well. I am not looking forward to when dd is ready for her own bed tho!
Hugs
