How long did you guys swaddle your babes? Dylan still needs to be swaddled to sleep, but is starting to fight it some. The last few nights he has wanted to sleep unswaddled for the first few hours and then sleep swaddled from around 1am on. Did anyone else have to go through a transition like this? TIA.

My 1st LOVED to be swaddled. I can't remember how long... But it was quite some time before he didn't want to be anymore. Same with my twins. I do remember it was tricky to figure out when to give it up.

I think if he's trying to fight it, maybe it's just not something he wants anymore. I think if you try a night or 2 without it you will figure out real quick how much he does or doesn't need it anymore.

My older one was swaddled til about 5 months and really liked it... This new little one hated it almost the second we got home from the hospital so he was swaddled for maybe 5-6 days! It's funny how different they are!

We have sort of given it up. He wants to sleep on his tummy now, but he can't get off his tummy! He rolls over onto it, but then when he wakes up to nurse he gets really mad because he can't get off of it. *Sigh* I think we are done, but who knows! It could change anytime I guess.
