Default Sling(?)

I have an Infantino Sling (http://images.amazon.com/images/P/B0...V64219921_.jpg) I bought it because the package said I could nurse with him in it. NOPE! Unless my breats hung to my belybutton I couldnt bf him in it. He doesnt seem to like it either. Any ideas how to get him liking it? I've never seen a baby not like a sling

Looking at the sling... I think that it may be the design of the sling. I tried something like that on w/ my 1st and found it really bulky, complicated & difficult to use. If you did plan to wear this baby, I really can't see this sling helping you do that

If you did want to try a ring sling look into a Maya or Ellaroo. I've had nothing but luck with my Ellaroo ring sling. I nurse in it all the time and Reece is so comfortable it I don't bother with a stroller anymore.

I post on the babywearing forum from time to time, maybe go peek over there and see if that helps you figure something out.

I have this sling too. My daughter hated it at first. I have been able to nurse in it but only sitting down with my baby sitting up on my lap. Otherwise, I agree it is way too low. I have been able to carry her in it fairly comfortably, but was disturbed because she can't look out. I have started twisting the strap on the shoulder inside out which allows her to look out. I am a little disappointed with it too.

i had this sling when ds was a little guy. it did not work nearly as well for us as one of our simple ring slings...

i never was able to nurse in the infantino, and i could in the ring slings.

Just try a plain ole ring sling. I think it will work out much better for you!

The recall was only for a buckle issue. (I use 'only' loosely). but the entire design of the slingrider is very poor. unless you are over 6' tall it will be too low on you, this will probably hurt your neck/back/shoulder and/or make it impossible to breastfeed in. with a sling or pouch the babys butt useually shouldnt be lower then your belly button. (of course there are exceptions, like if you have a really high belly button). when you breastfeed you might have to adjust a good carrier so that the baby is lower, but for just carrying higher is better.
