Icon11 My "baby's" first loose tooth

My oldest baby is reaching her first milestone into adulthood. (sniff sniff) Yeah ok she's only 5 but still this is a big step, even for ME!

She has her first loose tooth, which means she is going to get her first adult tooth.

Where is that time machine so I can turn her back into my little chuncky monkey that fit into my arms?!?!

SO being that the last time I had to deal with a loose tooth myself, I was just a kid myself is there any advice for a mom going through this for the first time?

I remember loosing my teeth as painful at times and sometimes scary, but then some people held me down while they yanked my tooth out and thought it was funny. (GRRR) not an option for my little girl! She is excited because her friend in church has already lost a couple teeth so Sariah thinks this is "cool" and "fun". I've already warned her it may hurt a little, and that she needs to keep wiggling the tooth to get it to come out by itself. Is there anything I am doing wrong or anything else we need to know?

TIA
