How do you discipline a mouthy child?
Timeouts don't work! I don't think she understands what she does, but she is such a smart mouth. This evening she spit milk at Mason. Matt said for her to go to her room. He started saying something to Mason and said again to Makenna to go to her room. WELL she said Don't you see me walking! WELL needless to say that didn't go over well! I told Matt to explain to her why she was in trouble, but he just said you can't talk to mommy and daddy like that and I don't think she knows what that means. This isn't the only time, just the most recent. Usually if you tell her to do something she will say no, or roll her eyes at you! I just don't know how to make a 3 year old understand this is bad when I am not sure she knows she is doing it, KWIM? But I don't want her to get worse as she gets older because I am not doing anything about it now. Does any of this make sense If so and anyone has any advice...please share
