I need some help on how to deal with this. Alex is MAJORLY attached to me. She has major freakouts when I leave for anything and I mean anything. The other day I ran to the convience store to get some dish soap and her father was home with her. Anyway she comes blazing out the door SCREAMING bloody murder and had to be dragged back into the house by her father. I very seriously expected childprotective services to be at my house when I got back she freaked out that badly. If I leave her home she cries at the door or her bedroom window until I come back. Apparently when I ran to get a haircut 2 weeks ago she cried at the door until she threw up. I guess eventually my sister got her distracted but she had already done some good freaking out. As soon as I get home she needs to be held right away. Yesterday she brought it up to a new level. We were watching an old home movie of DH and I in our first apartment. She saw me and then started crying because she wanted me to "come back" (I was no longer on the screen) I had to take her out of the room completely and get her doing something else. So that is the long and short of it any advice? TIA
