Today my friend Chris and I took Raine to go and see Ice Age 2 at the cinema. (BTW, the film is veeeeeery good!) The place was packed with families and the atmosphere was great because everyone was laughing together and cheering at the right places, just a great way to see a film. Anyway, there were quite a lot of kids so naturally you could hear them whispering to their parents every now and again, saying thing like, "Is it finished yet?" or "Are they the baddies?" Raine was exactly the same, she whispered a whole running commentary to me!

Anway, towards the end of the film, there was this very tender moment and everyone was sitting in silence, kind of like, "Awwww" and suddenly this little kid from the back row started giggling and laughing, pretty much ruining the moment and, frankly, just wouldn't shutup! But obviously kids will be kids and that's what you need to expect when you go to watch a film. So anyway, by this time you could tell that everyone was trying to concentrate on the film and blank out the sound of this kid, plus you could hear the mother trying desperately to quiet him down.

And what does Raine do? She turns around in her seat, kneels up and shouts at the top of her voice "Will you SHUTUP!???!?!??" Everyone just started laughing their heads off ... and well, it worked - nobody heard a peep out of that kid for the rest of the film!!!!!
