Hello Everyone,

Yesterday got AF

I have irregular cycle and it has become worst now 35-43 days

It kind of makes difficuilt for me to help know my O days....and so I am going to try out OPK this month..All the wonderful ladies out here please help me know Does OPK helps with irregular cycle at all.... what would be my approx O days with 35-43 days cycle and what kinda OPK will help me know my O time considering such a long cycle....

Hoping to get BFP this month with OPK if at all it helps !!

You know it is so very hard to use OPK's when you have irregular cycles. Since you do not know your window time of oing, you could spend a fortune on them because instead of lets say taking them for 4 to 5 days around O you might O anywheres within a 2 week period of time which can be very expensive when you are taking at least one of them a day.
The things I use to know if i am oing is charting and checking my cm for fertile cm. Trust me when I say i feel your pain. I also can have cycles that last that long, or I can O pretty decent around cd18. There where times about 2 to 3 years ago when i had times i did not O till cd50. But I would try charting and checking cm to give you the clues as to when you could be oing. Also charting can help you detect things like short lps as well. For instance look at my last cycle here.. I had a 30 day cycle, which would normaly make you think I O'd around cd14. BUT WRONG... I only had an 11 day lp. So if I was not temping and checking cm I would not have known i actually o'd on cd18, and would have been dtd around cd14 thinking that is when i was oing, and I would have been to early and missed the egg.
I would say with the length of your cycles you are oing somewhere between cd20 and 26 maybe? It's hard to say for me without a chart
Good Luck I know it is hard.
But we can be cycle buddies this time around because I am on cd1 today.

Hey Jodi ..

I feel you are right ...and it will be a waste to use OPK with such a long cycle..so lets start on with charting ,,,,it seems many on this community forum benefited from CM and BBT...but will these methods help me identify my O starting from this very month...or it take 2-3 months for monitoring your body pattern and then u know when u r O ing....i hope u understand coz i just dont want to waste this cycle and want to have BFP

Thanks for understanding me ...My DH says that i think very much about all this..and this might to be a big hurdle in getting BFP ...I think I need to be relaxed but just can't get off with baby fever.

Hi all. Am new here. Am 33 and DH 35. TTC 3rd month. Been on clomid for 3 months. O'ed on the cd 18 and awaiting af. Going crazy. Please help!! No symptoms of pregnancy either.

saloni- temping definetly will help you identify when you are oing. And you will probably see when you o'd from the very first month. But it will maybe take a few cycles to see if you are consistant with your oing, or if you are a little all over the board like myself.
This cycle does not have to be a waiste at all. Start temping, and around cd12 start to check your cm and record it. your cm can be sticky, to creamy, to either ewcm or wet or waterycm. The ewcm and watery cm is when you are going to be the most fertile. Then you and dh go like rabbits and hope you catch that egg.
