Some of you know I have been on this board since June 2004 and TTC since Aug 2003. Dh and I have been foster parents since June 2003. We have given up TTC (4 or 5 months ago now) but along the way we had been fostering babies and one day we got a call for a darling little angel who had been apprehended from her mother on the day of her birth in the hospital.
We picked her up from the hospital on May 12th 2006 when she was 7 days old (paper work took some time)
Soon after we began fostering her, the social workers told us that she would be placed with an adoptive home as soon as they could find one....... we told them we wanted to adopt her!
So today we finally got to sign all of the papers to take her out of foster care
She is 99% ours.....we just have to wait for the court date
which means I can finally show her pictures! I have missed out on being able to show her all this time so I've picked a few to show
