Icon12 New to SK

Hi!

I am new to this site and wanted to see if there was anyone in my same position. We have been trying for about 6 mo now and I have been having irregular bleeding through my luteal phase. My dr. did a D & C, but turned up nothing. I am still having the bleeding. I check my BBT everyday as well as take ovulations tests. I am just frustrated and am thinking about contacting a fertility specialists.

Thanks and anxious to meet some of you

Hi there and
We all the know the frustration and disappointment of the TTC journey. Good luck. You feel very comfortable here, everyone is very helpful.

As for the irregular bleeding I'm not sure. I would contact an RE, it definitley can't hurt anything.

to the boards. Hi my name is Janet & I one of the co-hosts here on TTC 6+months. We are very happy to have you here.

Now on to your question, you said that you are having irregular bleeding during your luteal phase. Is it heavy bleeding or just sporadic spotting? Did your dr say if he found anything when he did the D & C? I believe that there are many things that can cause this issue. Especially if it is just spotting. Some of the causes can be low progesterone, fibroids, and endometriosis. Have you discussed any of these with your dr? Good luck hun & keep us updated on what is going on.

& yes if you have a chart we would love to see it. There are many woman on here to like to stalk charts.

I do not have any children.....just a huge dog that we love! He is an English mastiff named Hank.

I did speak to my dr and she did a HSG and ruled out any polyps, fibroids and endometriosis. She said everything looked healthy. At times the bleeding can be pretty heavy, but for the most part appears pretty dark( which means it is most likely old blood). She wants to wait one more cycle to see if it clears up. The D & C was on Oct. 9th. Today is supposed to be my ovulation day

I am so excited to be able to share and get some info back from fellow people TTC!
