New here with questions!
Hello!
I have some clomid questions.
I've been on 50 mg clomid for 2 months, dh and I have been ttc for 10 months, all anovulatory cycles. Except for the last two...or so I thought!
Before clomid, my 21 day progesterone levels were always around 1. The first month of clomid, it increased to 26, and the second month it was 14. I didn't do opk's the first month, but the second month I got a + on day 16.
Well, today my dr informed me that day 16 was "too late". And because I had been coming in on day 23 instead of day 21 (my bad, cd 21 kept falling on a saturday) my progesterone levels didn't truly indicate ovulation.
So he's upped my dose to 100mg, I start tomorrow.
Okay so in a way im excited, like "hey! I'm NOT a failure!", like we're starting all over again fresh and I'm okay with that. It gives me new hope. On the other hand, I'm worried that 100mg won't do the trick, OR that it's too much for my body and I'm going to conceive a whole litter. lol
My other thought is - why was my dr so pleased that I O'd the first month when he thought my progesterone levels were taken on day 21...but now that he realized they were day 23 he's convinced I didn't really O? Does two days make THAT much of a difference??
