Need encouragement

Well ladies here I am at cd 16 with nothing going on in my ovariers. I went for an u/s and b/w today. The b/w shows that my estrdial is going up slowly, but my follicals are not growing. I have been on 75 ius of Follistism from day 2 to 11 and 100 ius from cd 12 until today. With nothing going on. I have one on my Right side that isn't even measuring 10!!! That is it. I am begining to think this cycle will be a bust too. I go back to the dr on Fri to see if any change. If not I think I will cancel this cycle myself and wait for a couple of months before trying again. The only reason is my Dh is going out of town on the 3rd to work and I can't see him driving 9 hrs one way to just be home a day and turning around and driving 9 hrs back.

I know that I am very blessed to have one amazing daughter, but I would love to give my dh a son. I am sorry this is so long, I guess I am just feeling a little disappointed I thought for sure that I would have bigger follicals by now.

Oh Hun I am sorry. It sounds like to me that with in the next few days you will have a really large growth spurt. That has happened to me quite a bit. The first month I was on injectables I had a follie after 3 days and triggered. Then the next month I did not respond as well. I Oed on CD 22 that cycle. IT will grow I promise you. You could have one hiding in the back as well that they can not see on u/s. Keep us posted.

Thanks for that, I really needed some encouragement. Its funny the first month I did an IUI they canceled it cause I did respond so well but the past couple of months have been nothing. Last month I did have one nice one, but of course it ended with a

then I will take a couple of months off and see how things go. I don't think I can deal with another month of disappointment right now. I guess I will just have to wait until Friday when I go back for more b/w and u/s.

I agree with Jess.....don't cancel it Vicki.

What about storing DH's sperm for an IUI while he's gone?

to store it, we have to do a HIV test that will take at least a week to get back and since he leaves before that I don't think it will work, plus it cost another $125. I am not sure he wants to do that. i guess I will know more tomorrow. I am finally getting egcm. Yeah!!

I will be praying that things turn around and this cycle will turn out to have a good chance. I know that when a cycle is going south it is so disappointing. Keep us informed.

Well the good news is that my follies are finally growing, (I now have one on the left side 10mm and 2 on my right side 10.5 & 12) the bad news is it maybe a little to late. I have to go back Monday and see how things are going. If they don't think that I am ready to trigger Monday night, then I have no choice but to cancel this cycle. For two main reasons, by Monday i will be out of meds and my dh is leaving on Wed. Since he is going down to texas, I don't think I can get him to drive back just for one day. I think that if I don't trigger on Monday and we do cancel, I am not sure if I will try again or wait for a couple of months. My dh is leaving everything up to me. I kinda of wish that I took a bigger dose of meds earlier this cycle, but that is how things go.

Wish me luck and lots of growth for Monday.

I see that you Triggered. I hope that you get that BFP at the end because this has been a stressful cycle for you.

well I did trigger, however we will not be doing an IUI. My follicals were not big enough to do an IUI, so DH and I are trying our luck. He left today and I was out of meds. So I am not holding out any luck for this cycle. I am still not sure about if we are going to try again this next month or not if this cycle doesn't end with a BFP!!!

I guess I have about 2 weeks to figure it out.

That is the up date on me.

This next cycle will be the fourth IUI we have done to try for #2. We have been actively trying for # 2 since around July.

Today I found out the my little sis is pg with her first child. I am really happy for her. She has had 3 m/c. I'm hoping this time it will work out for her.

Oh hun you know that there could of been one that was hidden in the back, I have had that happen many times. And when you dont expect to get pg you get pg. I am praying for you this month. Check in and let me know how you are doing.

I'm not sure, My temp finally went up today. I am hoping that the Trigger did make me O. Normally my temp jumps a day or two right after trigger, this time it was about a week after. My dh has been out of town since Wed and we haven't bd since Mon. So I doubt there is even a remote chance of me being pg this month. I guess all I can do is wait and see.

hun I believe that you have a fall back rise. There was not a big enough jump the first time but I still have that feeling that fell back down. Now with that bing said, There still is a chance of conception as long as you Oed yesterday. Remember that the sperm can live 5-7 days in good CM.
