I need help ladies.....the nurse just called and gave me the results of dh's SA. I'm not quite sure what to think of all of it. She gave me so many numbers that I didn't understand. First off she said the volume was on the low side.....motility was normal.....forward motion was normal......morph was low.......she said a couple of things were normal also, but I can't remember what they were. So, low volume and low morph.......what's that all mean???

I tried to ask what all of it meant, and she said that they wouldn't recommend IVF and that a pregnancy was possible.

HELP!!! Is this a bad thing??

ARRRG ..I don't know the answer to your question, I wish I could help you out.
It does sound promising that it is possible for ya'll to get pregnant,and that IVF is not needed.
Was another appointment scheduled with the RE to go over the numbers?
I always thought growing up that if you had unprotected sex, you get pregnant.. if it could only be that simple!

I actually called the nurse back yesterday after I posted this thread.....she wasn't concerned at all with his numbers. She said that we didn't need to do anything different. That we were completely capable of conceiving on our own....or I can be more aggressive and continue with our oringinal treatment. Which is starting clomid and doing IUI next cycle. I will probably go with the treatment........hopefully we will have a BFP this cycle so we won't have to go any further.

I'm not to worried now....
