Hi everyone! Many of you don't know me, but I did see a few names I still recognize. Anyway, after 3 years of TTC, our precious Kaitlyn was born on January 8, 2007. I just wanted to let all of you know that dreams do come true and not to give up on TTC!

Kaitlyn was due January 19th, but I was induced on January 8th. We could have picked any date, but it was my husband's late mother's birthday, so we decided it would be cool to honor her in this way since I was born on MY mother's birthday. Anyhoo, we arrived at the hospital at 5:30 am, the doctor broke my water at 7:15 am, I had the drug "cocktail" at 8:00 am, epi at 8:15 am and Kaitlyn was born at 12:38 pm. I never had a pain and everything went perfectly. Well, aside from the fact I had a stage 3 epi... but it never really caused me much distress. Kaitlyn weighed 7 lb, 6 oz and was 20 inches long.

We have since had our first trip to the beach, our first day of day care and are having our first shots on Thursday. Too bad all the "firsts" can't be a day at the beach...lol.
