Yesterday my mom got a call from my aunt about my grandfather. After lunch yesterday he went to get up and go sit somewhere and fell along the way (fainted - details aren't very specific). When he was found he didn't have a pulse. They were able to revive him by the time they got to the hospital. He is heavily sedated and on life support. Last night they had to revive him again. Things are looking pretty grim at the moment. My mom and sister are flying out tonight to see him. I wanted to go but the flight is in Canada and at New Year's they border patrol was questioning why we didn't have Lea's birth certificate which is back at my other house. Please just keep my grandfather and my family in your prayers.
I'm so sorry to hear about your grandfather. I will keep your family in my prayers. I also want to thank you for your sacrifice because your husband is a soldier. I will keep him in my prayers as well. May God bless your family.
Thanks everyone... his condition has improved slightly but he is still in critical care. Hoping to get an update from my mom later today and I will let you know.
He is currently awake but not able to speak - that was the latest update from my mom when I got home. Thanks everyone for the prayers. Its awesome to know that you can turn to others and have them pray for you.
Things have gone down hill. He is expected to pass anytime. My heart is breaking over here.... I wish I could have said goodbye at least and feel so much guilt for not doing so.
