I am a little worried, sad, angry, I don't know. My emotions are out of my control, that is about the only thing that I can tell you about how I feel. I had some b/w done and my white blood count came back over 200,000 and my red blood cells and platelets are low. My doc thinks I have AML (Acute myelogenous leukemia) & it is a type of bone marrow cancer. My grandfather had it, and he died before I was born. My feet swell and bruise if I stand on them for longer than an hour, so trips to the mall are not fun for me. That is the only thing that is really bothering me right now. I have to have more extensive testing done if my 2nd set of b/w comes back the same. Please keep us in your prayers, dh is having a really hard time with this, but he is trying to be strong for me. I am having surgery next week, to remove a growth and to reconstruct my airway. The surgery is on Tuesday, election day. The following week or the week after I will be having my wisdom teeth cut out (what fun, I know....) So this month is definitely out and maybe more months to come depending on my test results. It is amazing on how your outlook on life changes drastically in just one day. I love you guys!

Oh Heavenly Father,

I look at the face of this sweet, young girl, and see Your hand. Her beauty and spirit shine through, as only You can create. Therefore, I bow my head today and ask that You please place Your hands upon her head and allow Your presence to flow through her body, her mind, her spirit. Lift her Father. As she dwells upon her news, interrupt her thoughts with Your power and raise her head so that she can see Your light. Allow Your power to course through her body like a mighty river, and touch her to the very depths of her being. Her faith may be shaken, but not destroyed. The roots of her faith run deep and true. Please Father, reward this faith by healing her. Her name is Cassandra, and this means "prophet". She has spoken in Your name many a time. Please allow her voice to continue to be heard by those of us too weak to seek You out ourselves. Please Father, watch over Your daughter. And tonight, as she lays in rest, allow her to continue to sense Your presence. May she sleep deeply, and when she wakes, please bring her serenity and comfort and the knowledge that all will be well with her.

I ask this in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

I should know results tomorrow, I have to go in and get another set done and my doc said that he was going to call the lab and tell them he needed them NOW. They usually take a day or two.
