What's your favorite T.V. show and why?
** I guess I'd say 24. It's nothing like anything else I watch, but I got totally sucked in the first season! It doesn't hurt that I love Kiefer Sutherland.

What's your favorite color?
**If I had to choose, I'd say purple. DH chairs Relay For Life in our town, so we're all about purple.

What's something you would never do & why?
** Skydive. That's the first thing that came to mind... I'm deathly afraid of heights.

What made you think DH was the one for you?
** When we first met (in high school), I had shin splints. He knew me through a friend and knew that I walked home from school. He came and offered to drive me home since he knew I was in pain.

What is your favorite recipe you like to make?
** I really can't cook at all... I'm terrible at it. I do make good stuffed peppers.

Can we have it ?
** I'll have to find the recipe. I haven't made them in a while. This will be a good excuse.

Do you think TTC or planning a pg has helped you grow spiritually?
** Absolutely. If I feel tempted to feel down or depressed, I remember that God has a plan and not to doubt that things will happen as they are supposed to. I nearly died when my ectopic pg ruptured. I know that if God got me through that, I shouldn't doubt that He's here for me no matter what...

What's your favorite T.V. show and why?
I'm a huge fan of Survivor. Since it started in 2000, I think I've only missed 1 episode. I find all the personalities interesting in each show. It's kind of like watching a soap opera in a way. You just get sucked in.

What's your favorite color?
I guess blue. I like an aqua blue color. It really just depends though. I also like green though. However, when it comes to clothes I have lots of black. Yeah, I'm confusing !

What's something you would never do & why?
Get a Tatoo. I don't think anything of it for other people. It's just my own little thing. The thought of something being permanetaly on my body for the rest of my life doesn't appeal to me.

What made you think DH was the one for you?
Well, we dated when I was in HS so I find it funny that I thought this at the time. I wanted to ride his motorcycle at the time. We went for a ride and I thought to myself, Wow he seems like good husband material. Guess that's why I stuck around so long . He is good husband material and I love him!

What is your favorite recipe you like to make?
Hmmm! Well, I do like my homemade chocolate chip cookies.

Can we have it ?

Get a pack of Toll house semi sweet chocolate chips and the recipe is on the back

Do you think TTC or planning a pg has helped you grow spiritually?

Definitely! I truly thought you could plan life. I have definitely been given a curve ball and God is working with me. I find myself like a child that doesn't want to listen sometimes. God is always there for me though. He understands when I'm weak and makes me strong. When I think I'm strong and start to rely on myself again, he reminds me that I still need him no matter what. He will see me through all things. Guide me in the right direction but I still have to hand over keys even when I don't want to.

What's your favorite T.V. show and why?
I love Malcolm in the Middle--the big crazy family reminds me of my own. And everytime I watch it I get to tell DH, "I hope we have 5 boys JUST LIKE THAT someday!" LOL

What's your favorite color?
blue, any shade, but most especially that deep velvety color the sky turns at night

What's something you would never do & why?
Start smoking. I've never smoked a single cigarette, not even as a teenager and I'm proud of that!

What made you think DH was the one for you? I think I've told this story on another board... When my baby brother (19 1/2 yrs age difference!) was only a couple of months old I asked Brett to hold him while I fixed my hair or something. I came back out and could hear Brett talking, so I just stood there and listened. He was going on and on, just making up the craziest story about how when Samuel was big enough they were going to go rabbit hunting but they wouldn't have any guns so they couldn't catch any rabbits so they'd have to stay in the woods and live in a tree house and I don't know what all. It was this huge elaborate story that didn't make any sense at all. And that is exactly when I knew I loved him, that he would be the kind of man to tell stories like that to a child.

What is your favorite recipe you like to make? I love to make cajun catfish, they're great for sandwiches too!

Can we have it ?
1 tbsp black pepper
1 tbsp dried oregano, crushed
2-3 tsp seasoned salt
2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp crushed red pepper (orig. recipe called for 1 tsp but TOO HOT!)
3/4 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp ground cumin
4 skinned catfish fillets

Preheat oven to 350. Stir together ingredients, coat both sides of catfish. Arrange in lightly greased shallow baking pan and bake for 10 mins. Turn fish over and bake for 5-8 mins more or until fish flakes easily. Mixture can be stored for later and can also be used on pork (but I've never tried it).

Do you think TTC or planning a pg has helped you grow spiritually? Yes in the craziest way. Besides realizing that God has His own plan for me, He also has used this to teach DH and I about being better stewards financially! So right now we're getting rid of credit card debt and beginning to try to work together financially as a team.
