Re: Karen
Well, my beta has leveled out at about 132. My progesterone did drop a good amount though (from 5 to 3.6), so all else being equal my doc said he thinks this might resolve on it's own. Unfortunately, I did start to feel pretty dizzy and had a brief period of disorientation today, so we'll probably just go ahead and do the methotrexate injection tomorrow. I'm having a stat u/s and blood draw in the AM just in case thing progress more quickly. That would be wonderful news. I HATE the idea of this nasty drug, but he doesn't want to do surgery and risk internal bleeding (I'd asked him to do a lap procedure and take out my right tube while he was at it so that I wouldn't have to deal with this again...) Anyway, it looks like I'll be on an extended break because of the drug. That will give me plenty of time to research IVF and adoption -- which are our only options now. I'll worry about that once I'm through the immediate situation. I'm feeling much more at peace today than I was last night...
Thanks for checking on me!! You're wonderful...
Karen
