Hi Misty,

You're so sweet for asking :-) I'll be officially 6 wks along on Friday. Found an OBGYN in town that I think I'll like... at least his nurses are wonderful. I'll meet him this Tuesday, 5/24. BBs still sore and I've been hitting a wall at about 4:30 pm when I get really tired and queasy. Usually, I'm an evening person wrt hopping on the computer and so I've been a bit lax about that lately.

I go for an intro blood test tomorrow morning since my doctor wants to be able to discuss results at our first meeting. Otherwise, not much to tell and sometimes I wonder if I'm still pregnant although lately the queasiness is a pretty good indicator.

I'm preparing myself for the "talk" from the doctor about the risks of genetic problems and birth defects for women my "age" complete with all of the available testing decisions dh and I will have to make. Basically, we're prepared to take the same approach we did last time w/dd. Since, we don't plan to terminate the pregnancy we're just interested in some of the basic, less invasive tests and anything we can do to promote the baby's health. The rest is in God's hands.

I'm so glad to hear your tired and queasy . I know sounds weird but I'm so excited for you! Anyway, I know the first trimester seems like forever to get through but believe me soon enough it will be a memory. Before you know it you'll be entering your third trimester .


I agree with you on the testing. I'll be praying that everything is H&H with you and the baby. Will you be getting an u/s on Tuesday? If so let us know. I'll be thinking of you.


I'm doing well. My mind seems to still be baffled by being pregnant. I just find it so strange but in a wonderful way . It seems like every two weeks I'm out buying more clothes because nothing fits anymore. Sometimes I just want a huge Moo Moo Dress and not care anymore .
