Can you spare a prayer?
Hello. I have visited this board a million times but have never had the nerve to post. I usually attend a womens bible study once a week, but between vacation and VBS have been out of contact. I would usually pray with those women, but have turned here instead. I feel despaired. I am an older women with four children and history of 5 losses. I have been hosting the TTC after 40 board for about 1 1/2 yrs. now and ttc again for the last 16 mos. I am currently in the 2ww and am feeling this is my last chance ever and have been very down lately. I'm not sure if I should be so selfish to ask to have conceived this cy or merely to ask for peace and acceptance in ending my journey. So if you could spare a prayer in my favor I would appreciate it. I know He will do whatever is best for me. Thanks.

Where did I come from?" the baby asked its mother. She answered, half-crying, half-laughing, and clasping the baby to her breast: "You were hidden in my heart as its desire, my darling. You were in the dolls of all my childhood games. In all my hopes and my loves, in my life, in the life of my mother, and in her mother before her, you have lived."

Re: Can you spare a prayer?
Jacqueline,
God says ask and you shall receive. He didn't tell us there's any limit on asking. I truly feel if it's your hearts desire than he will fulfill your needs. He will give you the peace your seeking and I pray the blessing of another child . You'll be in my prayers Jacqueline. You have such beautiful children! I pray that God has another one in store for you soon. He works in mysterious ways as you know .

Re: Can you spare a prayer?
Genesis 18: 10 And he said, I will certainly return unto thee according to the time of life; and, lo, Sarah thy wife shall have a son. And Sarah heard it in the tent door, which was behind him. 11 Now Abraham and Sarah were old and well stricken in age; and it ceased to be with Sarah after the manner of women. 12 Therefore Sarah laughed within herself, saying, After I am waxed old shall I have pleasure, my lord being old also? 13 And the LORD said unto Abraham, Wherefore did Sarah laugh, saying, Shall I of a surety bear a child, which am old? 14 Is any thing too hard for the LORD? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son
For as we all know, all things are possible in the Lord. Jacqueline, keep the faith. You've been in my prayers for a long time, and even when you do finally decide, at 60, that you're done ttc, I will continue to pray for you and yours. Because you are a beautiful woman whom God has placed in our path so that you can show us what it truly is to have faith.
We love you sweetie!

Re: Can you spare a prayer?
Jacqueline, I've not told anyone about this post or what I answered, but I want you to read what a wonderful and lovely woman just sent to me via email. I've no doubt this message was meant to be delivered to you. Alicia is not TTC and has no reason to be on this board but she's very spiritual. Something moved her to send this to me today.
15 God also said to Abraham, "As for Sarai your wife, you are no longer to call her Sarai; her name will be Sarah. 16 I will bless her and will surely give you a son by her. I will bless her so that she will be the mother of nations; kings of peoples will come from her."

Re: Can you spare a prayer?
Hi Jac,
You have been and will continue to be in my prayers too!
We all get discouraged because we're only human and we can't
see the future. Don't know why He wired us that way, it's very frustrating!!
But we need to remember that God's timing is perfect. He won't let you down!
If you can't find peace in the idea of stopping your TTC journey,
then He probably doesn't want you to stop yet.
He will lead you and guide you to where he wants you to be. So hang in there!!
Lots of Love, Prayers, & Blessings!
Jo
