Icon10 unisex names for girls *like or dislike*

SO im due in august and altho i havent been confirmed yet that this baby is indeed a girl, i FEEL it is a girl and i only have girl names in my head.

But all the names i like for my baby are also good for boys, i.e. the spelling can be changed, first letters, etc..

What does everyone feel on unisex names for girls?

Here's the list of names i like for my "girl":

Jordan or Jordyn
Taylor
Avery
Kasen
Kamdyn or Kamden
Cameron or Kameron
Bailey
Brooklyn or Brooke (this ones more girly)
Wesley (i know call me crazy but i think it could be a cute girls name)
Jayden or Jadyn or Jaden
Talon or Talynn (more boyish but cute to me)
Ashtyn or Ashton or even Ashlyn
Kaden or Kylen

anyways i like all of them.. some more then others but you get the picture they can all be used for boys as well.

Anyone know or known a girl with any of these names... i know the more common ones yes.

They can still be cute for girls huh?
What do yall think?

I love unisex names for girls. A lot of the names on your list are names I considered for my girls. I named my youngest Courtnee, and have since met 4 guys named Courtney. When people find out I have b/g twins and ask their names, they are never sure which one is the girl and which is the boy.

Now to answer you questions as far as knowing any girls that have your list of names...

Jordan or Jordyn - I know one boy and one girl that are named this. The boy is spelled Jordan and the girl is Jordyn.
Taylor - I know 4 girls with the name Taylor and 1 boy.
Avery - I know two girls and no boys.
Kasen - I don't know anyone with this name.
Kamdyn or Kamden - Don't know anyone with this name.
Cameron or Kameron - I know of two boys and two girls with this name. My little boy is named Cameron. I think of this as more of a boys name but it is becoming very popular as a girls name.
Bailey - I know of one girl and no boys.
Brooklyn or Brooke - I know two girls named Brooke and my stepsister is actually going to name her dd this.
Wesley - I don't know anyone with this name.
Jayden or Jadyn or Jaden - I don't know anyone with this name.
Talon or Talynn - Don't know anyone with this name but my friend name his cat Talon. It's a male cat.
Ashtyn or Ashton or even Ashlyn - I don't know anyone personally with the name Ashton but I think of it as a boys name. I do like the name Ashlyn for a girl and I know one little girl with the name Ashlyn.
Kaden or Kylen - I don't know of anyone with this name.

Jordan or Jordyn...for a girl i'd prefer Jordyn...with a "y"
Taylor...it's cute...but there are other unisex names that i like much better.
Avery... love this name.
Kasen...cute!
Kamdyn or Kamden...i watch the show 7th heaven...so i couldn't name my little girl this.
Cameron or Kameron...cute...but for a girl i'd spell it Kameryn.
Bailey...used to have a dog named this.
Brooklyn or Brooke (this ones more girly)...i like Brooklyn more than Brooke.
Wesley (i know call me crazy but i think it could be a cute girls name)...i know a woman named wesley and it fits her well. i think i'd spell it Weslee, though.
Jayden or Jadyn or Jaden...i know a very bad, bad little boy named Jaden.
Talon or Talynn (more boyish but cute to me)...Talynn is very cute!
Ashtyn or Ashton or even Ashlyn...i'm a little partial to this name because Ashlyn is my little sister's name. and i think she's pretty cute.
Kaden or Kylen...cute...but here i go with my spellings again...i would like Kayden and Kylin.

most of the time when i see a boy's name as a girl's name i change the spelling...usually to include a "y" or an extra "e." but i think your names are nice! i love picking out names. it's a lot of fun!

A variation on the name Jordan (although it was totally make it non-unisex, and kind of not what you're asking for!)

Jordana

I used to work with a beautiful, amazing woman named Jordana and I've loved the name since. I think it sounds so deep and feminine.

I too am a huge fan of unisex names! As long as you are happy with a name I don't think it should matter what gender it is meant for... All you name choices are great and are all wonderful for little girls... I especially love Avery. I also love Ryleigh for a girl, but you could always spell it Rylee or Riley its cute every which way

Jordan or Jordyn Not really my favorite name, to common
Taylor Really Cute, although IMO I think it is a little to common in contrast to you sons unique name
Avery Love it!!! We will most probally be naming our newest addition Avery, we like it for both genders
Kasen Great Name- very unique... love it more for a boy
Kamdyn or Kamden I only like it for a girl
Cameron or Kameron Very Cute, I definitely agree with Melissa, I love it spelled with a K for a girl (Kameryn is cute!)
Bailey I knew a really mean girl with this name so it just reminds me of her
Brooklyn or Brooke (this ones more girly) Love it!
Wesley (i know call me crazy but i think it could be a cute girls name) I think its cute, but I think it is much more suited for a boy
Jayden or Jadyn or Jaden Two Words... Britney Spears.. it is really sad to say but I think the name is ruined IMO
Talon or Talynn (more boyish but cute to me) Love it, especially for a boy
Ashtyn or Ashton or even Ashlyn Only for a boy
Kaden or Kylen Very cute names!

Good luck choosing a name, I am sure whatever name you chose it will be perfect for you little one!

Jordan is my favorite girl's name. Peyton is another huge favorite. I like Jordan spelled this way but ok with the y also. i actually posted on another website for feedback and most people said if u do choose a boyish or gender neutral name pick a u should pick a very feminine middle name to go with it.

I also love Pilar and Brooke.
Hate Brooklyn.

wish i could get my husband to agree on one of these names for our baby but he wants a more girly name.

good luck and let us know what u pick!

Jayden or Jadyn or Jaden~I like it for a girl, spelled Jaiden. I know 3 girls with the name Jaiden.

Talon or Talynn~Boy!

Ashtyn or Ashton or even Ashlyn~I'm Partial to Ashtin because this is my DAUGHTER'S name.IMO It's sounds like a girls name and I had it picked out when I was 13(almost 15 yrs ago) I get nothing but compliments on her name (Ashtin Niccole).

Kaden or Kylen ~This name is a boy name.

I am a MAJOR fan of names for girls being considered guys names.

My baby due in April is going to be named Gaven and some of the other options were Rian and Evin. Some people hate it but I figure that its not going to be a popular name and yet its not a name that will make people always ask them about.

I know a woman named Trinidad. Her mother saw the name on a western and LOVED it. I like that name a lot but its a bit too unusual for me.

On your list my favorits are either Brooklyn Talon Kaden or Ashton

i go for names that end in "n"

I definately understand the 2 T names thing. I like trends but that can get really confusing (especially when we start... uhm... aging?) We were thinking about Hayden for a girl this time around but with my oldest daughter being Hailie-Elizabeth and my son Trenton... we didn't want a name that started with either.

There is a girl at my dd's school who is named Wesley. I like the names you have listed. I wish my dh would reconsider the name we have picked out for our daughter. It's Abbigail, which is nice, but a popular name. I've tryed to suggest other names, but he's set on Abbigail and calling her Abbi. Good luck finding the name for you baby!

You've chosen some really nice names. My daughter is Jordyn and since we had her we've met a bunch of people with daughters spelt the same way! We also have a son called Gabriel which can also be Gabrielle if you want some more unisex names to add to your list. Another I liked was Aubrey-girl or boy.
