For our little girl, we have two names but can't decide.
Lydie (family name not a nn)
Leighton (should we spell it this way? pronounced LAY-TUN)

For middle names it would
Lydie Hope
Lydie Rose
Leighton Hope

What do you think???????

Even though I would like Lydia better as the full name with Lydie as a cute nn, I understand it being the family name so I would go with Lydie more then Leighton. Layton is a boys name for me, and Leighton just makes it look like you are taking a boys name and trying to make it look girly. Lydie is far prettier for a litle girl. But that is just my oppinion. There is a big sway with people wanting more boy names on their little girls. So I would say that if you want a frillier and sweet name for your daughter go with Lydie. But if you want more of a boyish name go wth Leighton
Lydie Rose would be my number one pick with Lydie Hope second.
