Hayden-Please no. Not on a little girl. Not every boy name has to be turned into a girl name.
Sonyi [Son.gee]-what about Sonia. Much prettier imo
Mileena-nms. BUT It still is a pretty name
Zahira-i'd go with Zamira instead
Solani- again I'd fo with Sonia instead
Shalyn [Shay.lin]- MY 2nd fav from the list

I absolutely love Jacinda. I love hyacinth flowers (anything floral, really) so that one gets a huge thumbs up from me. It's sweet, but will age well and won't date her name.

I think Hayden is very handsome on a boy. It's a little sentimental for me as it's my dad and grandfather's middle name. I just can't think of it on precious little girls.

Carma I would really like as Carmen. Carma is too much like Karma, which is not necessarily the most positive association. People usually think "Karma is going to catch up with you" or "Karma's a b**** and things of that sort.

Zahira is a very pretty Arabic name! I love that it means "bright" or "shining". I think this is a very sweet and gutsy choice.

Zamira is another very pretty Arabic name. I like this one too. Mira makes a fun nickname.

Solani is just unattractive to me, as it sounds very contrived. A quick google search brings up that it is the scientific name of a group of aphids, a disease of tomatoes and a tobacco company. That all came up on the first page.

Evalee sounds very juvenile to me and I can't see it aging well. I'd much rather see Eveline, Evelina, Evelyn, Eve or Eva. I think Evie would make a very cute nickname for any of those and yet a child would still have an "adult" name to grow into as she gets older or for more formal occasions. Emmeline is sweet too.

Zania just makes me think of 'zanny' the synonym of kooky or weird.

Alianna makes me think of Aliens. You might like Arianna though, which I think is very princessy!

Shalyn- is this pronounced SHAY-lin? I think this sounds very juvenile too and also is it very much like so many names that are very popular right now (Jaylin Kailyn, Baylynn etc.).

The others, I'm not sure about. I don't like Mileena much, but that's a personal preference. Do you have any info on Sonyi? Where it comes from etc?

Jacinda was on my list, but DH vetoed it. Its a great name!

Jacinda is a good name some kind of classic one...I think making it two syllable would be great like Jacinda Maika, Jacinda Michelle and Jacinda Clara...

Boy Names

Alianna makes me think of something kids yell when they are playing hide and seek but I sort of like it. Perhaps you can check on variations. I liked to have good strong names and something you can see an actress, politician or someone famous with. Do some research and you may yet find another one that will seem perfect.

I know some that do names by numerology or consult astrology. I went for names of relatives but if I had it do do over I would do something to make them their own individual. Really stand out but not a name to be made fun of. CC
