Default Quad screen results

I know there's a lot of differing opinions on whether this is a good thing to get done, but just to clarify, I had to do it (my own rule, not doc's) because of my previous pregnancy. For those that don't know, the begining of the end last time was finding out the quad screen results were abnormal, followed by a bad looking u/s, then amnio, then the end.

So, my doc calls me yesterday and tells me the results this time are 1/105 chance of downs syndrome (compared to what my risk is supposed to be of 1/945). Results for the rest of the things they test for were normal. I'm a little in shock and not sure what to think. The u/s on Friday looked totaly normal, even my doc agreed, no soft markers for downs. I'm not thinking I want to do the amnio at this point. The doc moved my next u/s up to 20 weeks instead of 22 and they'll look again for signs of downs. Also, my personal feeling is that while it would be hard to have a downs baby, we're willing to take on the challenge, but it would be nice to know for sure. I know there's a good chance this is a "false positive", but it's hard to think that way after my last pregnancy. Anyways, trying to keep my sanity at this point and I just wanted to share. Thanks for listening.
